University of Campinas

I am a Ph.D. student at the Institute of Computing (IC), University of Campinas (Unicamp) and also a member of RECOD Lab.

My current research involves discovering how a machine can perceive the passage of time in pictures and videos using only visual evidences, such as movement of dynamic elements, differences in illumination and shadows, and also semantic changes in the scene.

Outside academia, I have worked as an iOS Developer for many years, building apps for mobile payment, restaurant management and even gaming startups. These experiences allowed me get in contact with both UX design and business aspects of those fields.
